FELLOWSHIP FOR LIBERATED FUTURES
is an 18-month transformative program designed to empower & support Black women & femme leaders in the social sector by providing both space & conditions for rest. The Fellowship celebrates & invites the creativity of Black women & femmes working across, & at the intersections of climate, racial, & gender-based justice.
By way of Bombilla Creative & the collaboration/partnership of Ivellisse Morales, I had the pride & the privilege of ideating & designing Fellowship's brand & identity from the ground up, & had a lot of fun throughout the process.
INSPIRATION
Bold, integrity, trustworthy, caring, & unapologetic, were among the words we & the Fellowship team came up with to define our tone & core values during the discovery phase. Taking special care to capture the essence of these words, I put together this mood board as visual inspiration to guide us through the exploration phase of Fellowship's new visual brand & identity.

After trying out a few different iterations, we chose the direction of the "pinky promise" hands holding dandelions. The client appreciated the thoughtfulness & nostalgic nature of the pinky promise, as well as the symbolism behind the resilience & transformative stages of the dandelion.

With our established creative direction, I refined the logo, underwent font & color exploration, developed the visual identity, delivered a deck template, social post template, & functioning website.
