CHALLENGE //
When Alyssa Magdaluyo brought us on to work on Tasty Tings, she had nothing but a dream, a solid jamaican beef patty recipe, & a logo that was designed by San Francisco-based tattoo artist & friend, Olivia Olivier. The challenge was to build out a brand identity system, website, & print marketing materials that would cohere with the existing logo, & allow more of her vibrant & effervescent personality to shine through.
APPROACH //
We began the process with some branding exercises to gain a deeper understanding of the essence & thought process behind Tasty Tings. From there, we developed a vibrant visual identity capturing Alyssa's ethos– we developed several patty illustrations to match the aesthetic of her logo, we designed her website, & several other print marketing materials: a booth banner, business cards, & thank you cards, to bridge the gap between her business & her brand.

PHOTOSHOOT
We captured some amazing moments during our Tasty Tings photoshoot. We saw firsthand just how much tlc goes into making these patties. We then took all of the amazing assets we created to build the Tasty Tings website.

REFLECTION
The work that is most impactful is often the work that hits closest to home. Tasty Tings is woman-owned, bipoc-owned, & locally-owned. From one craft to another, it's always an honor to collaborate with like-minded women who are cut from a very similar cloth.
